City Council Meeting Audio 2/20/07

This one and a half hour meeting was well attended. This was a make-up meeting for last week's snowed-out meeting. Three Council candidates were in the audience (Peter Melan, Bill Timmann, and Elinor Warner), one prospective mayoral candidate, and mayoral candidate Sal Panto showed up at the meeting's end.

The parking meter ordnance was given 5 yes votes to extend hours until 6pm, to charge $1.00 at the courthouse meters, and to double some fines. There was some very intelligent commentary on the Riverwalk project. There was also discussion of the recently purchased park plan and the proposed ambassador program.
